Job Description
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Healthcare Assistants to join our team in providing exceptional care to our clients in their own homes. As a Domiciliary Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, assisting with daily living tasks, and administering medication as needed. You will also be expected to provide emotional support and companionship to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ care plans and progress.
Professional Skills
A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
A caring and compassionate nature.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo training and develop new skills.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
